Join us for Striking a Balance: Youth Voice and Program Efficacy

When we build programs to serve and empower young people, we aim to put them at the center of our programming. Youth centricity and youth voices are critical to ways that we that work with young people. It means honoring and centering a youth’s strengths, needs, passions, and goals in relationships and in youth-serving programs. This ensures that the program is tailored to meet their individual needs and helps them reach their full potential. However, it can be difficult for organizations to balance adult expectations with the voices of young people when designing programs.

Join us on 6/22 to discuss this interesting and critical tension between running our organizations and listening to youth voice. And listening not just to our youth leaders, but all youth expressions about their context and our programs.
