Two Opportunities to Connect in October!

MENTOR Independence Region has two exciting events planned for October – join us!

First, join us IN PERSON on Thursday, October 5th to dialogue and network with other youth organization and mentoring program staff about established and new ways to support youth Mental Health in our programming. At Meeting Youth Mental Health Needs in Mentoring Programs: Dialogue & Networking Event, folks will gather at our offices at 100 North 20th Street, 5th Floor, Phila PA 19103 from 9:30 to 11 am to connect and share experiences and methods of supporting youth mental health. And then, join us for a free virtual training Trauma-Informed Mentoring on Oct 19, 12pm-1:15pm EST! Get the skills and strategies you need in your mentoring role to support youth in developing resilience to cope with the effects of trauma.
