With deep gratitude and a hopeful heart, we share that MENTOR Independence Region will be sunsetting its operations. While this chapter comes to a close, our commitment to young people and the power of mentoring remains steadfast.

Since our inception, we have worked to ensure that every young person has access to the caring support and guidance they deserve. Thanks to you—our partners, mentors, advocates, and champions—we have seen the transformational impact of mentorship firsthand.

Over the last 10 years, together we’ve accomplished so much. We’ve had the honor of serving over 2,300 organizations, providing best practices to more than 11,000 learners, and impacting the lives of over 1,000,000 youth. The work we’ve done alongside our partners—like you—has been truly transformative.  There have been so many memorable moments throughout our journey, too many to mention, and many of them in partnership with you all.  We take immense pride in all that we’ve achieved together. Your dedication and support have been invaluable in helping us fulfill our mission, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Though MENTOR Independence Region will no longer be continuing its work, the movement to uplift and empower young people is far from over. We encourage you to continue investing in the future by supporting mentorship programs, becoming a mentor, and advocating for policies that create more opportunities for young people to thrive.
